Students at Omei Academy take English Language classes on a daily basis, enhancing content knowledge, and a vast exposure to a range of texts and English related tasks. Students at Omei Academy learn principles of elite writing for all genres. Younger students learn how to write paragraphs that summarize texts and show understanding of details in grade appropriate texts. Older students learn how to write essays that answer questions that require critical thinking of academic and fictional texts such as Flowers for Algernon, The Fall of the House of Usher, and Frindle.
