The detailed job responsibilities include: Develop instructional material, coordinate educational content, and incorporate current technology that provides guidelines to teachers and staff. Prepare and develop instructional materials for classes and activities and monitor the ways in which teachers and staff use the materials. Research teaching methods and techniques and apply them for curriculum development. Advise and train teachers and staff in curriculum development and follow up on the implementation. Evaluate the performance of the teachers and staff, and propose recommendations to improve teaching skills; advise them in the development of new curriculum, equipment, technology, and techniques. Communicate effectively with both parents and students to ensure that the classes and activities meet intended objectives. Communicate with community organizations and school districts to seek opportunities for program development, and follow up with activities for the programs and projects in order to ensure that they are on track to achieving the predetermined goal.
Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, Instruction or related area. Familiar with the Common Core standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
